Speaking to Women on the Rise on Generosity, Value, and Pricing

One of the great ironies in business is this: our clients often see more value in our work than we do.
That was one of the themes I had the chance to explore with Women on the Rise, a wonderful group of Atlanta-area business owners.
We talked about the mindset traps that hold businesses back, including imposter syndrome, comparison, inadequacy, and all the self-talk that comes with them.
We also discussed:
why generosity is not about discounting, but about staying open to the real needs and hopes of clients
why intangible value is often the missing link in how we think about our work
how recognizing what clients see can help counter some of the negative internal chatter
why offering options is one of the best ways to align client wants, perceived value, and pricing
My thanks to Rachel Donnelly, founder of AfterLight After Loss Professionals, for the gracious invitation.
